KNU

(KNU Pronounced 'no͞o' as in 'new';  stands for 'new')

knuOS is provided free of charge by the MEG (part of KNU Industries). The baseline knuOS provides access to any public virtual machine (VM) on the KNU. knuOS is required to build and operate your own dedicated Personal Internet ("PINT"). Your PINT represents your personal portfolio of virtual machines.

The following VMs are currently (exclusively) available through the KNU Ambassador Beta Program:

  The #1 - AlphaVM or simply Alpha ..................  0 KPD (free)
  A required VM; Provides KNU Identity; home publication; KNU Notification System; Safe personal Internet storage of contacts, time, passwords, secrets;

  The #2 - SCIF VM or simply SCIF ..................... 25 KPD
  Advanced personal dedicated Internet storage; Supports both public and private manifests;

  The #3 - KNUS Publishing VM .........................  25 KPD

knuOS will be available to the general world public on September 1, 2024 from this site.

For those of you new to the KNU, think about it this way: What Sonos has done for your personal music/sound cloud... The KNU does for your personal and dedicated Internet.
